Aegean Airlines Hand Baggage Allowances

One piece of hand luggage no larger than 126 cm* in its three combined dimensions (56x45x25 cm), weighing no more than 8 kg for economy travellers and no more than 13 kg for business class passengers

• on flights operated by Olympic Air using Bombardier DH8-100, DH8-400, and ATR aircraft.
• On Aegean Airlines flights, you may also bring small personal items. These items must fit under the seat in front of you (the Light fare only allows one piece, so you may bring a bag measuring 56x45x25 cm or a small personal item).

If your hand luggage is too heavy or large, you’ll have to check it for an extra cost (see below).

Infants (children under the age of two) are allowed to check one piece of hand luggage up to 6 kg and no larger than 55x40x23 cm, as long as it contains goods that can be utilized during the journey (such as food, diapers, and other necessities). The luggage allowance for children flying in their own separate seat (there is no fee for an authorized car seat) is the same as that of an adult passenger (business or economy). You are free to bring a foldable stroller for your child if it is necessary.

People who need assistance from airline employees or passengers with special needs must contact the airline at the time of booking or no later than 48 hours before departure.

Passengers with limited mobility are permitted to travel with up to two pieces of mobility equipment without paying an additional fee. Mobility equipment used for sports is also permitted to be transported in two pieces without paying an additional fee.

It must also fit inside Aegean Airline’s luggage sizer, not weigh more than 8 kg overall, and be light enough to be lifted into the overhead bin. Additionally, the carry-on luggage has to be large enough to accommodate any airport or duty-free purchases. Additionally, unless allowed to carry, it must not include any harmful foods for security reasons. Your carry-on bag, however, must be larger than 55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm and weigh 8 kg if your flight is being flown by Olympic Air’s fleet of Bombardier-type DH8-100, DH8-400, and ATR aircraft.

You may also bring one personal item (a purse, a thin laptop case, or a medium-sized backpack) on board when you purchase an Economy Class Flex or ComfortFlex Fare, but it must fit beneath the seat in front of you.

You may bring two carry-on bags for free while traveling business class. The maximum size for 1 carry-on bag, including handles, pockets, and wheels, is 56 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm. The weight limit is 13 kg. This must fit through the luggage sizer on Aegean Airline’s aircraft and be light enough to hoist into the overhead compartment. Additionally, the carry-on luggage has to be spacious enough to accommodate any airport or duty-free purchases. Security regulations state that neither carry-on bag may contain any harmful foods unless allowed to.

You are also allowed to bring one personal item (a purse, a thin laptop case, or a medium-sized backpack) into Business Class, but it must fit beneath the seat in front of you.

Your cabin luggage must be checked as hold baggage if it exceeds the permitted weight/dimensions, cannot be kept properly, or is deemed dangerous.
