A piece of checked luggage that weighs no more than 23 kg and one piece of hand luggage that weighs no more than 7 kg are both permitted for any customer traveling with Air Vanuatu. There is an additional luggage cost that must be paid prior to check-in. Baggage that weighs more than the permitted 23 kg must be divided into manageable and secure portions. Shipping via the Air Vanuatu Cargo service is required for any products weighing more than 32kg. Passengers can enhance their luggage allowance with Air Vanuatu’s extra service, which ensures a 50kg allowance.
Either at the time of booking or at the Air Vanuatu check-in desk, this is possible. All checked bags must have the passenger’s name, address, and contact information clearly and securely labeled. Any damage to luggage that is not properly and securely tagged is not Air Vanuatu’s responsibility. The traveller is accountable for making sure that the products they are bringing are allowed to fly with Air Vanuatu and are not forbidden items, such as hazardous goods, weapons, sharp objects, or artifacts having a cultural, political, or religious significance.
